Pour some methyl hydrate on it then, whatever melts it. Depends where the nozzles are mounted, mine are on the wiper arms themselves. Just tryin' to give the guy some options.

If you can find the reservoir, check to see if the liquid in that is frozen. What usually happens is water, either from dripping melt from the roof or rain and drizzle will freeze in the nozzles, especially if one is working and the other isn't.

I ran the truck with the sun shining on the windshield and defrost on high for a few hours and got the driver's side working, the other side started working later.

We have a big bulk container at the shop, but the stuff is a streaking nightmare, even though it doesn't freeze. I use bug stuff in the warm season and try to get it empty before it gets cold to put in the winter grade fluid.

This happened to my personal vehicle. I added some new -28 degree purple washer fluid. A few hours later, I was able to squirt out most of the summer stuff and replace it with more of the cold weather stuff!

Let me be more specific. Adding that stuff and running your engine will help break it up. You can either remove it and dump it out, or try spraying fluid for a little while to lower the liquid level and add more of the good stuff. The stuff that doesn't freeze helps melt the regular wash fluid.

Prestone, walmart $3.00, works so good it will keep your wipers clean in a blizzard.

If the spray nozzles are on the wiper arms, just pull them off and put them in the truck to thaw out.
The washer fluid will just come out the hose...
You'll go thru alot of fluid, but will clear out the bad stuff quick..
You should also run a pin or paperclip thru the nozzles..Sometimes you get a crud build up.

I just swapped trucks...this one had been sitting in Fargo for a couple days (around -10). I topped it off with the -20 stuff, it didn't help.
After 2 days it finally works again.

To prevent it in the future...wallyworld rain x 2in 1
orange bottle. Mix in about 4-6 oz. of isopropyl
alcohol. Buy a small bottle in the pharmacy for a few bucks.

I use to buy this stuff at AutoZone and used it on them deep freeze trips. I'm sure other stores sell it, maybe even Walmart. It's good to -34 degrees. I never had a problem. The company reimbursed me too. Just put it on a separate receipt.
