Um....that is the entire point. The reason you don't feel it as bad is because it is now doing what it was designed to do, so the impact to your equipment from the beating of that road is lessened.
Frustration!

So you gonna try and tell me it costs the same to run empty and does more damage than running loaded? If you think that, your an idiot, plain and simple!
-
Really, you now want to resort to name calling. I thought we were having a nice discussion. Good luck to you sir.
-
Really....?
You actually think this? Its no wonder our industry is in the shape its in.
Oh well I guess, someone has to haul the cheap stuff, might as well be you.....
BTW I didn't call you an idiot, you managed that on your own. Have a good day. -
I would try to get an LTL or something to TN so I could get that TN load.
But that's just me.rjones56, RW. and RedForeman Thank this. -
That's if the load in TN will let you pick it up a day later.
-
I'm sure you get the point.
-
2-0 on the insults. You are winning!!
-
i personally would take the tn to oh, if'n i had to get to ohio. and / or could not find any else paying decent.
i have learned not to be afraid of DH, because on the other side is a good paying load that makes up for it or the cheap rate coming out of previous area.Les2 Thanks this. -
I'll go with Injun on getting the LTL... beats the DH rate for FSC!
OTOH, DH from OH to TN beats sitting - your fixed costs keep piling up...
