I called RTS to find out what the deal is, I filled up at the TA in Baytown,tx i saved $.47 off cash price than sept 1st rolls around and bam down to $.08 off a gallon across the board at every TA/petro. I have not yet received a call from them after leaving about 3 voice mails from what I'm told they cut everyone off on cost + $.06 I'm using fleet one fuel card now.

I was told NASTC lost there fuel discounts also, but if I can get the same deal I was getting thru RTS ill pay the $250 today I saved $400-$650 a month alone

I found the NASTC card to be a pain to set up because my credit is not good enough to the line of credit version (set up the credit line, set up auto-pay, no problem). Once the rotten learning curve was over, I really do like this card (I had to find a way to put money on my account that was low fee and fast, they kept telling me 'bank wire' which you DO NOT WANT TO DO!! Regions Bank has a PopMoney interface that takes 2 days, has no limit and hits me for $1 each time). They also get you a 15% discount if you use Sprint for phone service btw, which saves me more than the $250 membership. Fueling I use a combination of the FleetOne and my debit card. FleetOne discounts are not better than what I can get with debit/loyalty card in SOME AREAS like South Carolina. The thing is, when I use the FleetOne card I get a discount better than what my former company's TCH card EVER GOT ME. Flat cents off is nuts. Its also a very good thing to do your fuel outside of your company...the more independent you can be the better.

The former company double and triple charged me for fuel accidentally...more than once...and they did my 1099 with a net number (fuel, fees, etc taken out instead of a gross number and me showing my expenses), not gross which is WRONG according to the tax law guy at the IRS. But, what does the IRS know, right? Its not like they do taxes ever....

With FleetOne you can actually use it out of network but you get hit with a $2 fee. Otherwise there is no fee, just the $3.75/month. I think its $1.50 to use the check things, for lumpers etc.

I keep a spreadsheet of my fuel, use $1200-2000/week, and I am seeing discounts that make the NASTC card worthwhile. I was disgusted when I learned the details of OOIDAs card, I expected better. However, OOIDAs national tire discounts are better than NASTC which you may not even be able to use without your own MC#...

Oh, fuel tracking with NASTC is EASY EASY EASY! I set my account up to send me invoices daily (only get them on days I fuel, Friday-Sunday fuels come on one invoice Sunday night). Simple to read, the numbers have always been correct, and you can see exactly what you have left to send more $ when needed.

I can assure you, the NASTC/QPN network still has the cost-plus discounts. Fueled today at Columbia, NJ for $3.7085, and the pump price was $4.099. Price is dropping for 9/18 and 9/19, though. which is another nice things NASTC has. An email to let you know, once the prices are locked in for tomorrow, what the average price is moving. so, you get an idea whether to fuel today or get enough to make it to tomorrow and fill up (depends on the areas/states, of course).

Bought fuel at Petro in Hammond, LA last week with cash price posted $3.979/gal and my NASTC Fleet One price was $3.6588/gal for a savings of $0.3202/gal.

NASTC has the best fuel discount program I have found.

With this card don't you have to shop around for who has the better deal? Or is this chain wide/ state wide or what?

What is the reporting like with NASTC card? I would be cool with having them withdraw every day I fuel, however I don't want a report for every single fuel up. Can they print it out so at the last day of the month it lists all fuel purchases on one?

called NASTC today very nice group of people said they have had the deal with TA/petro for over ten years and buy more fuel than anyone else that class dont seem that bad there right off 65 at the TN, KY state line. $250 a year and that includes drug testing that i pay $109 a year for now and the class you only do one time.....Only thing left is wait until next month for the class.

Used NASTC Fleet one yesterday in Meridian Ms Cash price was $3.759 Got my invoice this morning &was charged $3.600. Filled up in Grand Bay Al on the 16th Cash price was 3.979 my price was $3.749. For the amount of fuel I put in that was $$23.23 Saved on 1 fill up and $41.42 saved on another fill-up.
Discounts have been a little less since fuel has been going up but you make your biggest savings when fuel is on a downward trend because all of the stations are slow to lower their price.
You can shop around on the website provided by NASTC and Fleet one for cheaper prices but using the TA's and Petro's are convenient for me and I always have showers available plus the rewards card.

They started us out with $3700 line of credit 14 day term ( that's per transaction) . I like it better then cash, the down side is we have to be active for 6 months before you can use fleetchecks! I don't what they offer others but that's the deal we got.
