Yes, you should always shop around, especially if you are crossing state lines. My process is very easy, and I do it all on my phone and within ten minutes I know where I am fueling. I use an app called Fuelbook to search for the cheapest retail along my route, then I go into the NASTC site to see if they can do better. I have found that in some places the FleetOne card is not the best deal....but when it is, it's better than anything I have ever used, except Landstars comdata card.
Do yourselves a favor and check out Fuelbook...it's free and shops everything including the little places. -
It depends on your credit. If you have good credit, you can do the line of credit and have them automatically withdraw daily, weekly, etc. I couldn't do this so I have to prepay and ach through my bank. You can have the reports done weekly or monthly, but since I prepay I like the daily (only when I fuel, one report for the weekend) so I can stay on top of my balance. Ach takes a couple of days to hit my account.gokiddogo Thanks this.

True, true... I have noticed its off on some Love's prices...but show me another tool like this that's more accurate and I will embrace it.

if you are in the area of nj try tullos truck stop in exit 15e or nj truck stop in the same exit while the turnpike is selling it at 3.71 today i filled up at 3.57 before the fleet one card discount
