Pretty basic stuff which any person that is hauling diesel fuel will already know fuel density changes according to weather, tanker, ship tanker discharge rates it basically is between ,830 g - 840 g per litre compared to water which is exactly 1000 g per liter or 1 kg so 50,000 lts of water would weigh exactly 50 tonne, 50,000 lts of diesel based on a density of .836g would weight about 41,830 kg/ 41.83 tonne. which is the reason our supervisor checks the loading figures to make sure we're not overloading.
