I hate rubber or PVC. I had half a dozen GOOD QUALITY rubber gloves when I did concrete.
Shop supplied them. No matter what, after a week, they start to smell like creeping death.

Yeah. It seems so long as the back side is an open weave material that can breath, your hands won't sweat nearly as easily and this makes them go much longer before becoming a public health hazard. Handling chemical unloading and loading is a different matter but I don't do that anymore either because I'm a sissy like that.

The gloves in the link can do other jobs.
Put them on and pet the cats. They won't know your actually giving them a brush down.Last edited: May 11, 2018

I worked a job a couple years ago that had these cheap nylon gloves with the palm covered in rubber from ULINE.com. They told everybody to grab a pack so I did. They are lightweight, and the rubber palm keeps the fuel from reaching your hands. I keep a couple pair in the door pocket and they last for several months. I figure I'm set for at least a couple more years. Cloth or leather gloves eventually let the fuel leak through to your hands.

These are the same gloves I use.
I still can’t figure out how the waddling soda guzzling club can get fuel all over the nozzle.joshuapowell61 and Coover Thank this.
