Are there any fuel-hauling outfits that use owner operators for fuel-delivery to gas stations ? Does anyone have some info on whether this kind of work pays well ? Thanks.

Not sure where you're running out of, but yes there are o/o transport companies. I'm in KY and we've several. I'm not an o/o as of yet but have worked for o/o's for 10 years and considered going solo. Around here the $ is good. 5-600 a day. Average 2-250 miles a day usually 5 or 6 days a week. Like everybody else, we are busy as hell from March til December and then it's hit or miss. Depending on where you are...Google Keenan Advantage, Florida Rock and Tank, Usher or Lewis Transport. Hope this helps.

    Graymist Thanks this.

Third thread about gas O/O's in a week...

Every company is different pay, requiremnets etc. Some you buy the hoses & fitting , others just the fittting, some your buying their trailer tires but get a higher % of gross. Rates and potential gross are different in every area

Advantage supposedly just implemented an age requirement .

    Talk to the local o/o's

Ill also add that I wouldn't bother trying to lease on till end of March, its just always slow till then.
