Yeah i know. But a pretrip alone is about 15 minutes. If you fuel alone is about 10 minutes. So lets say you fuel everyday, you save 70 minutes a week on your 70 if you combine them.

 

Next time call the cops.

I was at a place where someone got caught stealing fuel. Probably 7 years ago now.. I had just come out of the shower and someone had been beaten to a pulp in the parking lot, after being caught siphoning fuel. Nobody saw anything.

Not really. You could drive over to the pump off duty, fuel up, then go on duty and walk inside and kill 15 minutes,

 

Fuel receipts will show date and time. Better match the logbook/elogs.

They are going to steal fuel whether you have 1/4 tanks or full tanks. And if you buy those locking fuel caps, be prepared to replace your tanks. I've heard stories of people waking up to holes drilled in their tanks.

 

I would do it from the supply lines. Drilling sets up a harmonic that would alert anyone inside the cab, what is that noise? Not to mention motion when they ride the bit trying to get into the tank. (Affects the airride.)

In any case it happens. Just be careful out there.
