I haven't been out there in years, getting ready to start again. Alot has changed, and less respect for the drivers. I was picky before about where I fueled and I'll give respect to those who deserve it.

    Charge for parking, what greed.

The amount of money the government and all the local law enforcement make off of the trucking industry they should supply all needed safe parking around all major cities.

    The greed.

How did you replace the fuel without telling your boss? Did you pay for it out of your pocket?

HOPEFULLY the thief learned his lesson and NEVER steals anything ever again. Thieves do NOT have a conscience or care in the world as to how their actions effect other people.

Years ago Some of you old timers like myself can recall this ,,, if you got caught messing with another mans ride it was truck stop justice. More than likely you ended up in the ditch behind the truckstop. But nowadays all these pansies want to do is claim 15 min of fame by posting it online. Tire thumpers and a good old skull bashing is what they need

Have any of the fuel thieves ever been truck drivers themselves, or is it usually an outsider who is not a truck driver?

I for the most part got my fuel at the end of my shift unless the fuel lanes were busy then I would wait till the morning.I have never had my fuel stolen thank god.But if it would have ever happen I probably would have got a lock fuel cap.

I've been cat napping since 00:00 yesterday, no one has messed with anyone's fuel though someone did open my unlocked door thinking my truck was their's, it was one space over.

That happened to me the other nite, I was sleeping in the bunk and I woke up to some guy driving my truck. We were about 8 miles at this time away from where I parked it.

:) Na I'm just joking.. it made for a good laugh
