This is the link to the super injectors on Ebay. For $5800 they better do something!

The 05 W900 I'm close to buying has an APU on it. Do you think that could be why the ECM says 6.2MPG? I didn't think to check the idle time.

Can you give me a general rundown on what to do and what it costs to make an ACERT engine a Runner - Fuel Mileage Getter? Thanks

This guys an idiot, hes always showing chicks instead of part numbers and stuff. He can be full of shiat for all i know if he dont give you a part number on the injector, if those are 800hp 3406E injectors they are what i have and are 10R-0959. Those wont work on a acert, they are for the old engines. And you will NEED A TURBO with those at the minimum.

You can extrude hone the injectors on a acert to get more power, i would go 60% over stock, this will give about 300 more hp, put a fuel temp wire and boost wire on as well. I know of one guy getting 6.5mpg running west in a large car with this set up. You dont need turbo upgrades on them because they already push so much air with the twin turbos. The apu is a huge plus in my book, it will help millage out since you dont have to idle. Things to watch for on the acert are rocker arms, exhaust manifold studs, and belt tensioners. I dont think they are a bad motor at all but if i owned one i would build myself a single turbo, 15.2 liter, 7CZ C16 ecm'd beast :biggrin_25523:

I just got this reply from the seller of the injectors on Ebay.

"If your engine is a MXS serial series then you can expect to achieve about
1.0/1.5 MPG increase. HP rating will be approx. 825HP and torque will be
about the same, increase about 150-200 ft.lbs. If you remove the staged
turbos and replace with a single (add $6,800.)you can expect to reduce EGT
by about 200 degrees and achieve 2.0 MPG. I`ll need yo know your actual
arrangement # and ECM software #.

Our injectors have a much higher pop
off pressure and a different spray pattern, thus providing a significant
higher atomization of the fuel in the cylinder."

Do you think these are real numbers??? If you spend $5800 for the injectors and $6800 for the turbo you need to achieve significant results!

Do you think the 1650 ft/lb trans and clutch can live behind this setup???

He is full of shiet, those very injectors will not work in a acert. I can tell you a lot better set up for way less than this clown is pushing.

I heard some of the stuff he sells is crap, id stay away.

Here is my affordable acert recipe,
    C15 6NZ ECM $600-900 used.
    3406B exhaust manifold $100-500 used
borg warner turbo of machine engine or stage 5 michigan turbo $1500-2500
    fuel and boost wire $300

This will put down 660hp to the tires +/-. Thats 760 at the crank. Get 6+mpg all day long.

Yes the 1650 trans will live, the clutch is another story if you baby it then it will live. When you upgrade get the LIPE 2250 clutch that sucker will hold close to 3000lbs of torque and it runs about $450.

    Markvfl Thanks this.
