You can use these injectors after you convert it back to the old style fuel injection not the hydraulic crap on the acert, but then you need to put the 6NZ head on the block and get the cam , rockers etc.
Also you can get the 10R-0959's new for that much from CAT, hes selling em used.

I spent $14,000us on turbo and injectors it made a big difference to exhaust temps and improved fuel by 10% I just need to replace the ECM for even better fuel.
-
Looks like we have another Hp freak on here

I have about $7500 in my motor, injectors, ecm, turbo, manifold, cam, wires. I got a great deal on the injectors and cam.
C-16 get you the 1000hp cam from the C-18 part # 201-2677, it will really clean up soot levels in the oil and really let the motor breath. Its good for 100hp to the tires on a C-15, C-16. -
We dont have the availability of parts like you have over there and the other problem is the people to fit them here.Cat agents are not to happy to do it.A bit of history behind this engine:It has done 380,000 miles replaced 7 turbos a full rebuild at 270,000 miles including the head all this due to heat. Now its out of warranty I will be changing a few things.

My guess its a C16 set to 600hp stock? They had issues with the divider in the turbo and also the exhaust housing on them turbos were to small.
CAT wont touch anything modified. They hate it as well over here. -
Yes 600 stock,There is no divider in the new turbo and what you say about the exhaust housing being to small sounds right when its under full boost of 48psi it will start to run high EGT so you lift off droping the boost back to 35 psi drops the EGT back to 900f I was told it was a restricion in the exhaust but I dont think it is.
Western Star will do all the work on the engine but they get a bit worried as know one has done it here. -
Mine stays at 1050*F exhaust temps, under full power. I need to get one of the newer KW boost gauges that go to 80psi, mine only goes to 45psi and i already hit the 50psi boost cut. Had to stick a regulator behind the boost sensor and set it to 35psi to keep the ecm from de-rating the motor. My guess is 52-55psi of boost thought.
If yours gets above that than you need more turbo, not neccecerily exhaust housing size but even though its running 48psi its not pushing enough air volume for the fuel. What kind of turbo are you running now?
Oh one more thing a 425hp 3406B exhaust manifold will drop exhaust temps by about 200* and gain about 50hp, if you can get one by all means do it, its the cheapest upgrade i have done and helped A LOT! Especially with the fuel you are pushing. I see a lot of them on ebay. -
I dont have any part numbers for the turbo it looks a lot like the stock one but it has no wastegate its a garrett ball bearing type.At the end of the day I was not looking for more HP just control over the high EGT and a stronger turbo if I run the engine up around 1900 rpm the temp will stay down but will only boost to 40psi.Will the 3406b manifold bolt on alright ?I thought I might derate it down to the 575 setting to slow the fuel down a bit,or do you think i should wait till I put on the new ECM on and see what happens. With the old turbo on and when it was on the way out it was nothing to see EGT of 1450*F.
-
Where is your probe, in the manifold? Thats not that bad yet, if your probe is in the manifold thats around 1000* of the cold side. If your saying 1450*F behind the turbo then no wonder it had to be rebuilt, it wont last more than a few seconds with such temps.
Yes the 3406B manifold will bolt right on, only thing that needs to be done is clearance the thermostat housing, either grind down the manifold a bit or the housing itself, and you will need a shorter stud from CAT on # 3 cylinder. It will cool ya off about 200*F. The stock manifolds has a piss poor flow rate, a bone stock (non ported) B model manifold outflows it by 600cfm!!!! I have all the part numbers for the studs, sleeves, and gaskets if you want.
I dont think you have enough air going in the motor, sounds like the turbo is to small. I can put you in touch with the guys that build the turbos i have right now. Im sure they ship over seas. I can lug mine down to 1350rpm with 50psi of boost and still be at 1050*F, and my ECM will push the exhaust temps up there with small turbos. I wouldnt get a hotter program if i were you untill you can get more air in the motor. -
Thanks for the info,I think I mite try to de-rate it to 575hp setting that will let less fuel in.I brought the turbo and injectors from the same place you would think they would match.I am not to keen on changing manifolds but I will if I have to.
