I had one of my best year also when fuel i was high , but this time around thing are diffrent work is more spotty and the american people are to far in dept and not doing as well to support the higher price. The economy will fall ahader and faster than the last time around if they dont fix this mess where in and fast.

The US has not expanded its oil drilling or oil refinement facilities in decades because of the A-Hole hug a tree contingent. So we are still tied to foreign oil and whatever they want to do, they do. Oh, and Obama just signed another ban lasting 7 years on oil drilling off the coast of Florida. How is that hope and change working out for ya? LOL. The Saudis and Venezuela has the US by the balls because we let them. Oh, and there are new subsidies for ethanol and wind energy in the latest bill, no subsidies for diesel or the trucking industry!

I totally agree here, I was making much more when fuel prices were higher using the fuel surcharge..

This being said you need to be getting good fuel mileage too..

This go round's not gonna be like 2 or 3 years ago. The fed's monetizing the national debt inflation is going to raise prices on everything this time. And did somebody actually wish for some trucking subsidies? That's what ruined this economy and has brought this country down so bad everybody wants a handout and the banks are all too big to fail. They need to swim or sink responsible people and businesses shouldnt have to shoulder the burden of failures with forever increasing tax burdens.

that's not exactly right, well I guess I should say only partially right. In fact the big oil companies have consolidated refineries and closed them. they wanted to cut supply and the tre huggers are only a convienient excuse to not build any new refineries since that is actually the last thing they want to do, that would lower prices
