The cheapest I've seen it the past few days was in louisiana at about $3.93, but it's still around $4.19 here in Florida..

If you guys were paying any attention to the markets....Oil futures took a nosedive last week and are expected to continue to plummet....Along with housing prices which are supposed to continue to fall.

On a brighter note some things are going up....Like unemployment.

    Barry's doing a fine job....:biggrin_25523:

no sheet! I "short fueled" the other day in Lake Park Ga. because it was 21 cents cheaper than it was in Baldwin Fl. where I wanted to fuel.
I use an app on my droid phone called "truckster" to get fuel prices close to me utilizing the built in GPS

It sure isn't going down at the pumps in Iowa, but my discount is sure going up. Price at Love's in Clive, Ia has hovered around the $4.06 mark at the pump. I fueled today and got a .51 discount. So, price came in at around $3.55. Not too sabby for Iowa.

Won't be down for long. Here's some copy from a Reuter's story today:

    TERMINALS SHUT:

Nearly 20 percent of barge terminals the U.S. Coast Guard monitors on the Ohio River remained closed on Tuesday. The Smithland Lock and Dam at mile marker 918.5 on the river remains closed, obstructing barge traffic both up and downstream. [ID:nN09291512]

    SHIP TRAFFIC:

The tanker Zaliv Baikal turned back from going to a storage terminal at the port of Baton Rouge because its captain didn't think the vessel had enough clearance beneath the I-10 Bridge over the Mississippi at Baton Rouge.

    BARGE TRAFFIC:

Barge traffic is moving along the Mississippi River with some restrictions and no closures. Barges were running near Baton Rouge, but facing difficult river conditions.

Mississippi River restrictions include length of barge (no greater than 600 feet), energy requirement (greater than 250 horsepower), speed (3 miles/hour) and prior notification requests before navigation starts. To that end, barge traffic is open in places like St Louis and Memphis with restrictions.
