Why there even a person employed fuel and routing on the wkend doesn't make sense. Told me they can't authorize any changes on the wkend. Then why are u there answering
phones. Maybe for missed fuel stops i guess. I follow the route to a certain extent. Skip some backroads if a interstate going my same way is close and not too out of the way.

I always advised my drivers to do what they thought was best over the weekend and we'd fix it on Monday if things went wrong. Seemed to work 90% of the time.
