I've seen them mounted pointed in 4 different directions...
Maybe they work in conjunction with a Turbo 3000 VADA and a Tornado for your intake.... with some Slick 50.... and a Slap Chop... and some Oxy-Clean... -
I take it you laugh like I do when I see trucks with air tabs?
Just like the horse people I see with the big wing on the top of their pickups. They drive like 20k miles a year and only like 500 of that is while pulling a trailer but they have the wing on year round.

Trailer tails
Dumbest thing I've seen since I looked in the mirror!REDD Thanks this. -
Yup, gotta have that air straightened out before it goes into the turbo

Next will be vaseline on the mirrors to cut down on wind drag...
-
Oh, so that's why they send that vat of vaseline with the invoice for the tornado!
-
that even legal, tail sticking out like that??? I guess so
but check this out, not sure the cost of it but would rather have that... heres the link http://smarttruckbrands.com/

Side skirting the air around the wheels and breaks will do wonders for reducing drag.
What will the effect on cooling of these components in hot climates be? -
While trying to save .5mpg with air tabs and fairings the epa is taking .5mpg or more away with all the new emmission regs for motors. Drill for the oil we have in this country and enough with this BS.

seems to me European trailers with siders are better...
I do not like Schmitz (I like something tought and heavy), but...
