Everyone missed the second sentence, I bought a truck from a friend. That's why you don't do business with friends or family. Also this must be your first truck and you realized you don't get rich owning the truck. The more times a load passes through someone's hands the less you make. But I don't think you are getting screwed. You have truck and cargo insurance to pay. How much do you average per mile after your friends cut usually.
