Fuel Tank capacity??

There should a DOT certification stamp/etching on the filler nipple. Unless it's been polished off.

 

Volvo used a decal on the tanks if I am not mistaken ?

 

Crazy -- toting around 4300lb of diesel!

 

If that is what he wanted to do , that was his business .

 

Plus, mail typically runs on the light side, right??? Saves time en route, I can see why he'd do it.

 

Back then I was thinking he was in the oil/fuel business . Fill them up at his yard at cost? They would make it back before they needed fuel.
