Fuel tanker owner operator

The reason I mentioned KAG was they broker out fuel loads. Otherwise you'll need to find your own customers and get approved to load at the racks they load from. Do you currently own a 4 compartment fuel trailer?

Bro, companies everywhere do leased owners, you just have to locate them.
Where are you located?
Now, all things aside, it’s quite possibly the worst possible time to try and start your own gig.
I know every company in our area is hunting for loads to keep their drivers running enough to make decent paychecks.
If the big boys are hunting, you’re s.o.l.
They’re known, you’re not.
Who you think gonna get the call?
You have 1 truck, they have fleets.
Customer calls in the order, we’re there within a couple hours.
How you gonna do that if you’re way off in the opposite direction of the rack?
I spoke with one of the guys i know that leased on with usher today.
He said if his truck weren’t paid for, he’d be in trouble. Read that again.
A guy that’s been doing this for years, that knows his business, is saying it’s nigh impossible to successfully launch right now if you have notes to pay on your equipment.
I spoke with my buddy in Phoenix, director of operations for a major chemical company transportation division.
He said they’re thinning the herd.
I hear the same from every company i talk with.
Things are tough right now, and fixing to get tougher.
Now is the Time to do your research and homework.
Develop your plan, and fine tune it over the next year or so. Bank your money.
Be patient.
Wait for the hiring freezes and such to abate and let things pick up to where capacity is equal to or less than demand.
That’s when you begin talking with potential clients and getting agreements in place.
I hope you succeed hugely bud, bigger than your wildest dreams.
If you try it now, given the market conditions, you’ll have to work much harder than necessary in normal markets.
