-
You see..my situation is that i fueled from pilot in the mornig using my own credit card..the reciot just has the date..i didnt relize that i had time left to fuel..now i fueled way b4 time..and it doesnt matter for my company or mine audit because i can fix everythibg up later..i just wana know if i get pulled over for inspection..can they call pilot or somethibg to find out what time infueld right away when im still there..tha ksbzinger Thanks this.

Boy I don't know the answer to that one but I would gaurentee if you were involved in an accident and they wanted to know when you fueled they will find out !
-
Well, duh. But we're not talking about a fatality accident here. If you want to consider criminal felony liable cases, then obviously anything is possible and this entire conversation is pointless. But no scale house is going to call Pilot to get a time, and no Pilot manager is going to respond to such a request. A CMV cop has plenty of other ways to ding you besides violating your privacy rights and personal data without a warrant. And if you're worried about a CMV cop calling a judge to get a warrant to request a credit card transaction detail just so he can verify your log entry .... wow. Get over yourself.
If you have an EzPass or other toll transponder in your truck, then full credit card transaction detail should be the last thing you worry about. -
I can't imagine you are really worried about that one time...only.
akfisher, tucker and singh_canada Thank this.
