Fuel time

Wasn't there some talk a while back about DOT being able to look up your rewards card to see when you fueled?

 

I got zapped in penn in 07 1800 doller fine and oos for 10 hrs ..I decided it ain't worth it anymore after that ...company I was with was not happy either !

Next time you are fueling look at all the cameras pointing at you, then look at that radio stransponder dealy over each lane. Just two of thousands of ID points along your route.

What rhyme of reason would a D.O.T. officer care as to what time a truck driver filled his or her tanks? Does it really matter?

It is a way to put you at at certain place at a certain time to verify your log isn't just a bunch of bs.

 

You think because you do not have to physically swipe a card there is no digital trail of your rig and fuel stop?
