High flow pumps - think fire hose. If not trapped in position some how, will tend to flop around like you see in the old cartoons. I'd guess what happened here is the nozzle jumped out of the fill-tube and ended up in a position where fuel was spraying upwards and into the cab. Could be from ground level, or maybe even got caught on some part of the truck.
(another reason to like the 379 - fill tubes are back by the catwalk)plowboy_84 Thanks this. -

Fuel Bonus?

YeAH!
Ya reckon.
Probably a good thing that fuel wasn't from a fast-food joint,
or there'd be weight gain to worry about.
Can y'all just imagine cravin' fried chicked for thousands of

I've taken a few 1203 showers before. But that's the nature of my work. You've got to take a shower right away and get rid of those clothes. Just don't burn them!!!!!!!

A quick remedy to avoid this in the future, depending on your model rig are a couple of rubber bungees. They can be stretched and hooked into the running board when not in use and used to keep the nozzle in place when on the other side or washing the windows.
Good luck getting that smell out!kjpm67 Thanks this. -
