Did you read the PA cdl manual section entitled pre trip inspection?

Will give you everything you need for the skills, maneuvers, and road test, even gives you everything to check and pretty much say, including not getting credit for, ie gets credit for checking air pressure in tires with tire gauge and will not get credit for just kicking tires!

 

This exactly how I do my pre-trips except I wear a red bikini.

 

It would help if there was actually a truck in there so we can see what we're supposed to be checking.

Anyway, when I took my test, they gave me card I could read from, it's more important to know how to know when something is wrong. Basically, you're pretty much using the idea of "if it's a part on the truck, it has to be right."
