I would get a quarter frame. You are more prone to getting stuck at the dump sites with a full frame. Also your question about the mullah it really depends how you get paid. I do mostly hourly work here in Chicago.

Christ we have triaxle straight dump trucks with a 17’ box........why bother with a trailer for 22’.
what can you legally haul for weight with that set up in Illinois...? -

You’ll need a SHV permit to possibly even get 73,280. You’ll need to measure your inner bridge law between axles 2 & 5. That’ll tell you what you can legally haul. But anything shorter than 26’ you’ll need SHV. SHORT HEAVY VEHICLE

do you have any dump trailer experience at all? Because this is all basic stuff....I would never want to go back to a full frame trailer after pulling a frameless
