    You're a better man than I.

There is no place in this world I need to go that I can't drive to. I don't do planes.

After dealing with that area for a couple of winters, it's nice to just sit back down here and watch the videos and read the war stories as I wait for tanker to get drained at the cheeseplant. We've got heavy winds and cold air down here in eastern NM. But all of our snow is thankfully getting slammed against the mountains lining the 25-corridor.
We've gotten hit out here pretty good, but when dispatch can't come into work, our calls to stay put tend to not be ignored either. Nothing like an impromptu snow day to Netflix binge and use my electrified recumbent trike to haul kids on a trashcan sled!!

I have interline freight to run tomorrow. Should be fun around these parts, not.

    And, my fears were realized.

Bridges and overpasses freeze first, folks. Remember that.

That's why I watch that thermometer on my dash like a hawk when it's raining and near freezing. First little sign of ice on the wipers or mirrors, I'm done.
