The only good things I've seen that were made in China were disposable diapers.

The scary thing from China is food. I was in the supermarket about to buy some frozen flounder filets and happened to check the label and it said Product of China. No thanks.

Chinatown in ka-hoots here? If so, probably putting a new level on his "siheyuan".( common Chinese residence) It's as old as the byzantine era, you get what you pay for. These Chinese make a fortune off "good for a while" products, I think it's a pretty foolish venture. 1st of all, we, as a country, simply HAVE to get past padding these peoples pockets, just for the sake of a couple bucks. We need to keep this kind of work at home. 2nd, if anything goes wrong, who ya' gonna call? I think the Asians can make great products, it's just we rarely see them. The money for them, is in throw away products, and that's just what you can do with your Chinese engine, throw it away, and get a good one. Too bad you're already $25g's behind. They're laughing all the way to the bank,,,silly Americans,,

I bought a Chinese gas powered generator years ago and everyone laughed saying it wouldn't last 100 hours .
I took good care of it and sold it to buddy with about 1500 hours on it and it still runs good .
Bought another one a couple years ago and it quit before the first oil change was due ....gave it away lol.

It’s not that “manufactured in China” is a guarantee that it’s junk (as has already been noted), it’s just that it’s NOT a guarantee that it’s not junk!

(written on a Chinese-made iPhone 7 that’s been a champ for four years now)

Why would you need to buy from some company like that, if you are importing Cat and Cummins still make the older engines outside of the US and would be genuine.

I saw a guy in China driving a Rolls-Royce. He lived near me. Looked at it closely and it was a knock-off. They buy a couple of real cars or trucks, then reverse engineer them
    Here's a fake Ford F-150:

Let’s not confuse a high end American company that outsources to China that had a heavy American presence overseeing quality control, with a Chinese knock off Cummins though.

Just to be clear, was requesting a link to the Chinese knockoff wives, not the engines. But advice still noted lol
