    This is just sad. Whoever is following that close @35+ deserves to get whacked. Sad that the manufacturer has to be concerned enough to put a warning label on it.

    I had backed into an open area at the Anthony, TX J one evening to wait for my load swap. The wind was blowing hard and probably gusting to 50 MPH and quartering into the back and side of the trailer, into the left side/rear.

    I went to "close" the tail. They normally latch pretty good but I always give a jiggle and tug on them to verify they're latched. The instant I pulled on the right side one, I discovered it didn't latch well enough. The wind instantly blew it back open and left a pretty good mark on the side of my face. Lesson learned.

    I'm glad we're phasing those trailer tails out.

    But I've never seen one that "self deployed".
