furniture delivery driver question

Having a certain type of license has nothing to do with experience. You might be confusing qualification with experience (it's easy to do). Like many drivers have said before it all depends on the company on what they will consider experience. I have over 10 years of driving an over size truck (85' at 110,000lbs) hauling gasoline locally and some companies say I have no experience. And to top it off my company does not consider OTR driving as having local tanker experience. So it all depends on the companies. Just make sure you document everything and keep it. I still have my old log books from many years ago.
