Found out the coronados are glider kits-thats how they got new trks without that crappy arsed regen sys and the series 60 detroit that they don't put in trks anymore only the dd15. That's smart-that shows wise money management and in the game to stay, less hassles for drivers an breakdowns with the new motors. Plus they saved money to be able to upgrade interiors w/frigerator an rosewood dash an saddle leather seats. Don't know why they didn't do it again instead of ordering the petes-inless someone else did, turned em down on the but and FRE picked em up at a big discount.

Can't get crackberry to edit---turned em down on buying them-not but. Had a boss once bought me a showroom pete frm dallas peterbilt once that someone custom ordered but didn't take it-nicest truck I ever drove, was in dallas truck show too. Food for thought anyway.

Ya they are gliders everything new but engine and trans rebuilt. I guess they got a real good deal as they bought more of them. A few cascadeas and petes with DEF for the few Cali runs they , for now are not sending any of the cornoados to Cali. They are Detroit 60 series with good power. The same Detroit I had a few years back leaked oil a lot but this one has yet to do any of they. Engine still looks new and clean.

I think they do hire from TN. Have a terminal right their in New Albany, MS. As far as home time they will get what ever load going your way to get you home. Weather it be furniture, beer, liquor or meat. On my first home time with them and they got me a load to get home on the day I ask to start. Not sure if that was a fluke yet but it is a good start. Less stress working here then JBS and the best thing of all. If the communicate with them they will with you. They even pick up the phone when you call and reply to MSG in a timely matter. Safety guy is real smart also. He will set down with you with paperwork of proof when he tells you something is truthful. Showed me something today to help out with fuel mileage that I never knew and he had the docs to back it up so I didn't feel like I was getting smoke blown up my ***. If you know what I mean.

I had a 515 hp series 60 hauling milk last 2 yrs b4 coming to the pilgrims circle jerk, did pretty good put 320k on a 2009 cascadia and in shop for air compressor-cam shaft broke (no wrecker needed )just kept on goin just missin an hittin on 5.other than that, didn't use or leak oil or run bad.now that POS cascadia is another story+biggest piece of shat I ever drove, something always wrong with it, a/c went out 3x's,wearing tires,3 front end allng, several issues with the computer, seat broke twice, hit a medium size bird an busted the grill...etc etc. But the engine and tranny ran like a top!

Lol, same here but found out from safety that if you keep it 1 mile less then what it is limited to then you will save fuel. Said that the truck will dump fuel in the system even when you are at your limit and it is going to waste and lowering your mpg. Showed me three truck to show the comparison then showed me mine after I asked. From what I say on paper sounded like he knew what he was saying. So l give it a shot to see what happens next month. They are also starting a mileage bonus that will go along with your mpg. Already doing top mile, did 14k ladt month as long as I stay out. So I'll give that speed limit a test to see if my mpg goes up. If so the bonus % will go up.

Lol, there have been a few of the gliders go down but I feel it is the normal bugs getting out of the system. Air bag leak on 1, a few with drive shaft issues. Come to find out Freightliner was trying out a new shaft to make the trucks lighter. Some with leaky cabs to include mine. Other than that haven't heard anything else. Not sure of the hp on the Detroit. Paperwork on turn say 330 to 600 rebuild package. I do know they pull good with heavy loads. At less mine does.

Where's your cab leakin? Prolly won't be able to find it,look around for dust or dirt that shouldn't be there. When I was hauling cattle we had to go down ranch loads a lot and with a nice pete we always wanted to look good so we had to put some "redneck engineering". (duck tape and terry cloth towels) on em to help keep the air out. Your gonna have probs with every trk u drive but I think my cascadia was a lemon,I believe they got rid if my old truck early, only one they traded last year.looked good-polished out ##### an span on inside-pos lemon at heart! Lmao

Called the shop and they gave me the # to the Freightliner dealer in the city I was in. Told me to call and make an appointment. So I did got in and they said that the seals where bad. Trucks are made in Mexico ... Lol. So they re sealed it. Hasn't leak yet so I think they got it. I only found the leak after I got a truck wash so didn't know before then that it was. The leak was coming in from the dome light in the sleeper and above the headboard about the driver seat. Only small stuff with my truck. Nothing that didn't take a hour or two to fix.
