I send in my PTA as soon as I can. I'll even send it in once I send in a load confirmation. Some don't send one at all. So not sure if sending a PTA is worth it or not.


I would say that tire should have been changed a while ago.

 

Trl 002 is setting at Budweiser in Houston. Sorry to who ever picks it up loaded. I told the office that the trl needs to go to a shop for a overhaul. But it was too heavy for the load I was getting so office said drop it their. Got a newer trl (2004) and went back. Tr109 is 2000 lbs lighter then tr002 so I was able to get loaded. Scaled out 2000 lbs under 80k so don't know why I needed to change trl's. Either way bedding down. Broker keeps calling me wanting to know about the load. Guess he shouldn't have been a arse the last time on the phone. I am sure he will call some more in the am but I got caller I'd....lol so anywho. Have a good night everyone.

 

Nope nothing new on the dispatcher job. I hope to find out more when to it in for home time.

Ya the tire might not be that bad but you will have to take a chance on what dot officer you get at the time would say. I just go by if their are spot below the tread depth then it needs replacement. Besides one thing you look for on your checks is uneven wear.
