Had a load going to Denver that I could drop on friday, sent notice thu and friday. Get there at 1400mdt and they do not have anything yet for the weekend. Was said to check w DM in a hour. Go back to visit Ken and JL called and said there are 3 loads out of ft collins tomorrow. I will get one, Its not that big of a deal for me as I like to explore Denver and pull a 34 reset. I have friends in CO. I follow up in my truck the next am, and nothing is there regarding a preplan. I send a message, " Here at hotel just checking for preplan, ill be on my phone" Go back inside, 2 hours later go to check QC again. I advise if I dont have a preplan by noon I am going to stay another night here, ill be on my phone.
I get a call from Johnny 15 mins later and he says I have a trailer already loaded in holcomb, and its going to Amarillo and right after you drop that you will get reloaded and go to Sherman. I said ok, that sounds like easy miles to turn in before end of pay period. I say ok i will check out and check into truck at 1300.
I get in and start copying the dispatch and it says 2nd preplan is pu at 9-24 @1400 to 9-27 @2013, That is clearly not what he said, I sent a message back saying this is not what our conversation was about. He sends reply "I noticed that too" I said! "What"?
Count this as being mislead, next time it will go on paper to Don. I can articulate very well when I need too. Needless to say, I hate lies, and shape or form of a lie.
To me its like getting into a hit and run accident and saying someone backed into me while i was in the shower and left. He could of said this wont stay on me because the window is too long. But telling me they would reload me there upon getting empty is absurd. Just thought I would share with you guys, if this happens to enough of us drivers I am sure we can all say we dont want to work with him and he will have to find something else. I agree with Daniel, I see his point on this topic clearly.Daniel.trawick Thanks this. -
Any of you guys been to Independence Mo Caves?
They approved for me to use the Spotter Service. -
I have only been to the ones in Carthage, MO. They were easy to navigate with a Cascadia and a 387 Pete. A lot of fun too.

Carthage and Springfield are nice both.
KC Mo off 435 are no fun neither are the oness in Independence. -
Well, if you're talking about the ones off of 291, I have been in there before with a long nosed pete, they are tight, but manageable...

On another note.......I think the 'XTra' Lease means
'XTra' Heavy and 'XTra' LOUD.. geez...
Weight is ok with this one but it is loud and most of the time THAT doesn't bug me. -
Well, I used to work for an outfit called Midwest Express years ago and we were in those caves quite a bit... I drove a long nosed pete and I'm not gonna lie, they are tight, and some of the docks you have to blind side in... But, I always managed... So on that note, use your own judgement... If you're not comfortable with those conditions, use the loading service... Otherwise have fun...

i was on i-10 yesterday in La.crossing over those swamps and saw 7 aligaters in different places in the water.been across those waters several times and never saw one aligater till yesterday.i was suprised and excited at the same time
