    Anyone going into Denver tomorrow night, i25 will be closed from Sante Fe to Hampden, for the presidential debate. Road will be closed from 5pm to 10 pm. Plan accordingly.

    loaded this old wagon at souix city ia and was 340# over.had only 43000# on.took the out back to avoid scales till i burned enough fuel to be legal.now i have less than 1/2 tank.50 miles from of oky city.headed to la porte and now i have an air bag leaking.air bag looks new so i looked and it is leaking at the bottom seal.gotta stop in at petro to get fixed tomorrow.hope im not late but what can a driver do when u have wagons for trlrs.not going to lose any sleep over it.if this is what they want us to haul these meat loads in then so be it.just do my best and hope for a better day tommorrow...thats how trucking is no matter where u drive,just cant get excited about it

    Well I guess I misses the fun crew....lol. Went right to sleep when I got to Holcomb. Got up a 0300 and load is NOT ready. They have until 0329 but what is 29 mins going to do. So far from the time I left home last week I ha sat 4 days now. Not happy about that and have send them a email giving notice of me looking for another job. I'll stay if they fix the issues but I can't pay rent sitting all the time. I know times get slow and all. But come on. It took them 2 days to say head to Holcomb and wait their before givin me a load 2 hours after I get here. Well I hope everyone is doing good. Stay safe.

    Got my load. 1 hour late as Tyson didn't have it ready. Headed down the road and reefer pulled a fault. Code 61 low voltage. Reset it then reefer turned off. Unable to start. Came back to garden city where I am waiting for a repair guy. Only took dispatch 30 mins to respond so I hope the meat holds out until the reefer is fixed. Really sad that you pull a trl from the shipper and it just dies. Looks like ill be late and will be sitting more without getting paid.

    It takes Cash to get those things fixed and I think they are more concerned about there Nascar Team then they are about the FRE drivers and their customers freight. I hope Daniel who seems like a family man finds a decent company to support his family and not allow more time to go by while he waits for change. I have seen several times where he stays out lots of weeks at a time, and just sad to see him and other drivers have to put up with the mess. Guess I'll just stop reading this thread. Hope it gets better for you guys, but since Tennessee left. It seems like its only getting worse.

    Haven't had less than 2500 miles for the past 3 weeks. Only going to get about 2100 this week due to load cancelling and sitting but I'll be compensated for that. So, its not bad everywhere here. It's all just what ya make of it.

    I completely understand Dinomite. I've had a lot of ups and downs here but after looking elsewhere the downs haven't been that bad.

    And, I agree about your comments regarding the Racing Team.

    Miles have been up and down. Just a lot more then that has gotten to me. Like not getting layover pay when I have no choice but to wait. That gets old fast when the miles are low and so is the pay check. Their are some other issues that I haven't talked about here. But I do hope they change fast. I'm not going to leave tomorrow or just park the truck some where. I am going to take my time and look around. Until then I am staying here. Just wanted the office boss to know how I was feeling and what I am going to do. I have been able to get my pay checks to cover most of my bills but when you count on get $65.00 for layover and only get $10.00 I tend to get a little bent out of shape. Even when they give you 4 days to do a 11/2 day load and pay only $10.00 for that day wait. That's not good for anyone's paycheck.
