Devil's Advocate here!!!
NO Dealership likes doing warranty work PERIOD!!
My uncle works at an authorized Detroit repair shop; one of his biggest complaints and things he hates to do is go behind another guy and finish working on something that some other mechanic has started all because of not knowing what the other guy has or hasn't done.
Then you have to think about the fact some shops pay on a percentage; if the job requires alot more time then 1st first shift has left I can see waiting until 2nd shift comes in.
Ive seen mechaincs who could wear white and not get a spot on them; when I check the oil I look like Ive done a rebuild LOL

Well, been sitting in West Chicago since yesterday morning. Actually, Thursday night. Got within few miles and gonna come in Friday morning due to no parking and open appt. Night dispatch told me late Thursday night to call dispatch Friday morning for appt time. Done that and on my way to Consg. Dispatch calls and says they not taking it today. Will b 5 Sat. Morning. So sat all day. Overslept this morning and was late bout an hour. Still waiting. 3 docks open and sometimes all of them. Was suppose to pick up in Minooka, IL. @ 11 no later than 1330 headed near Denver for 08 Monday morning. That's not gonna happen. I kno its my fault I was late but I waited on them all day yesterday. Like that sayn goes. Customer always right.

Well here at Kroger in hutchinson, ks. Appointment is 0630 checked in and was told they will not even get to me until 0830. Already have another load to pick up in Holcomb and font have time for any messing around. I would call the broker but I was given the wrong number and haven't been able to talk with them. Looks like I am going to have one of them days.

The most common phrase hear at FRE "sitting" "Waiting" "In the shop"'Low miles""Missed Hometime", and if you don't believe me read back over the 1800 posts and keep track of how often these things are said its interesting.... Just sayin'

That is the most common sayings in any trucking company.
holycow Thanks this. -
thats right daniel, but there are some people out there that just dont get it and just dont want to see the bright side of anything.they just want to point out the bad in everything.always trying to turn people against fre because they have nothing better to do.what i like about this thread is when someone is having it rough they can express their feelings here and when its good they tell about it here also.we all go threw the bad,but we also have it good.not everything is perfect.but there is this one guy that was winged from birth on a sour pickle,so i guess he doesnt know any better so i guess i just have to put up with tennesee and consider the source

@Tennessee, I had something come up this week requiring me to be someplace at a certain time. FRE went above and beyond making that happen. I then sat for 2 days while taking care of the issue. But I'll still be turning in over 3100 miles for the week and I'm starting next week out with 990. Ever think you may have been part of the problem?
