Rumor has it that FRE is going to start paying detention out of their pocket so drivers dont wait then get theirs back from shipper. Also no delays on layover or breakdown pay. Seems Bill got involved.

I finally got paid detention pay from my load that I sat in Greeley waiting on JBS for 40 hours before Felix got me switched onto a different load. I will also get detention when for the 27 hours I sat in Grand Island last week waiting on that load too. It took some doing on my part, but it has been rectified. I know there are others out there that haven't been paid for certain things. Just do what I did. In a calm matter, put together an e-mail with dates and load numbers, and be as polite as you can when addressing the issues you are having. Send it to Bill Smith so he is made aware of the circumstances. He will send your e-mail off to the appropriate people and get the ball moving. If you are angry and have a bad attitude in your e-mail, you most likely will not get the help you need to make things right.

I know Tennessee sent his email and he even posted it for us to read here. His situation did not get resolved to his satisfaction, so he left and found something different. You have to remember that. If you don't feel you are being treated fairly or cannot live with the bad outweighing the good (again, it has to be in your opinion) then you have the option to leave. I have thought about it a few times over the past couple of months. But, once I brought up the issues to the right people, enough things were taken care of to my satisfaction that I have decided to stay around. I want to see this company grow into what it has the potential to be and to be a part of that would be very nice.

Ok getting off this childish stuff.....

sat at the consignee for 3 hours past appointment. But was finally unloaded. Went to Holcomb and load was ready early so hook up and I am now sitting in Salina. Don't have a drop time yet in Chicago but the bills say 0400 11/13/12. I know that time is not set in stone and can be different. But going to get myself set up to drop at that time if possable until I have been told different. Other then setting at the customer waiting on them I haven't sat at all. Been getting a steady flow of preplans.

With FRE their are changes coming. It is just going to be slow nothing over night. Wait it out if you can and if you can't then I hope you find what you ae looking for elsewhere. But I will be in a year this company will be going good and hopefully locked in on a hiring freeze for drivers.

76 south to ext 9 with on us-6. Take that to 270 to 70 east. Then take 470 ext head north. Turn right at first light. Warehouse on right at east end is FRE.
