Well they do give you chains and have you watch a video on winter driving and chaining up. They don't go right out and say chain or park it. They do say do what is safe and make good decisions. Fueling is at flying j and pilot only. If you see one of them you can get fuel. Now I do keep cash on hand just in case and have paid cash for a taste of fuel to get me where I was going to get fuel. Bad weather and head wind took what I thought I had left in fuel. Turned in a receipt with emergency fuel on it and was reimburse. Also with the 65 mph. If you can keep a 7.0 and higher mpg then they will turn it up to 68 mph. But you still have to keep a 7.0 or better to keep it turn up. If not they will turn it back to 65.

 

Ok I was ask to change over to a Pete 386. I did and was not happy at first. Less room then what I had in the coronado so I had tolled some stuff until I had time to fit what was needed in the truck. Took me a daybut I think I got it. Just need to have some home time so I can see if I can fit what I had my wife pick up. It was a last second thing on a Friday so of course nothing seem to go right. Truck was empty on fuel. Took 230 gal of fuel and I can only fit 240. Fuel card had to be changed over by weekend dispatch but they couldn't or didn't add the def part to it. Something I'll get fix on Monday. Truck seems to be heavier or the cat scale in taxes of their in Denver is off by 1300 pounds. No pre pass in it either so I hope to get one in the next month. Have an electric APU do that is something new I will have to figure out how to use. All in all truck is nice just hit a lot of walls changing over. I guess it is expected when things are last second. But moved in and back on the road to deliver my load. But I did find out I forgot something in the other truck that I need to get. Sucks getting old. Lol

 

Ya it will be. I took a step back and did what I was train to do in the army. Adopt and over come. So I looked at it and thought how I can make this work and do far I am getting thing back together. Moved stuff around now I got it where I can fit the items I had my wife take. So it was I little thing to run into. Clear sailing from here on out. Have fun with the root canal do not want to be getting that done or the day after. Get some rest and have fun up in them hills. They are getting move snow tonight so fresh powder for you to play with. Lol

 

Doing ok. Feels like it is weak but have been in a head wind for a few days now. So I am hoping it is the wind I am fighting slowing me down... LOL. Either way I am liking it. Have my stuff moved in. Going to get my power inverter installed so I can use my frig and microwave. They even had custom beds made for the trucks. Going to give it a try in a few. Pick up in Greeley at 3am now sitting here in SLC for a drop at midnight at ###. Food stores.

Sorry to hear about the tooth pulling. But it should be cheaper the the root canal. Hope they gave you some good drugs for the pain.
