I know the inverter onthe Pete I was in had to have something pulling a good charge to stay on. It would kick off and on if I only plugged in my cell phone or computer.

Yeah, Daniel is right you have to have something plugged into the strip at all times at either the top or bottom slot (not sure which one it is) to keep the power strip for tripping itself off.

So my last 9 days haven't been anything to brag about.
Starting on the 16th. I drove into Budweiser in Fort Collins and then sat the next day. Then Sunday, I was supposed to leave with a load to South Dakota. That got taken away and I got a comparable load to Amarillo. Then I ended up sitting the next day because there was no appointment set. Finally got authorized to drop it at Tyson so they could babysit it and I picked up my next load going to La Porte. Delivered it Wednesday morning only to go to Budweiser in Houston to sit the rest of the day because they couldn't load one of two empties. They had to load the trailer I dropped I guess. Then I drove Thanksgiving day and tried to deliver, yet another beer load, only to find the consignee was not open on Friday. Got permission to drop that load in New Alabany though. I did get paid the extra miles to take it there which was nice. Friday afternoon I got hit with a bad migraine and ended up being sick all afternoon into midnight. What joy! I picked up my trailer Saturday morning heading to Davenport, IA. 630 miles for the weekend. I did get to catch my Broncos beat up the Chiefs yesterday, so I guess it wasn't a total waste. After I deliver here, I am to head to Waterloo and grab a two stopper in Elgin, TX and San Angelo, TX. 1250 loaded with 130 deadhead. Hopefully this load starts to turn things around for me.
On a side note, the trailer I picked out of New Albany had 6 of 8 tires at or below 80 psi. I was not very happy about that. Luckily, I bought my own air hose that connects to the glad hand emergency supply line and aired them up. Checked them yesterday and today, both cold, and they are holding at 105-107 psi. I encourage all of you to start making detailed reports of trailers that are not up to snuff when you pick them up. Including location, date and what is wrong and emailing the info to Mark or getting a hold of Mike (Local shuttle driver in Denver) and reporting these issues. Perhaps the more emails they get the more serious our maintenance program becomes.holycow Thanks this. -

Got to Stop 1 last night a bit early..
He told me, there's no Telling when he'll be able to get to me..
Since I was REALLY supposed to be there yesterday.
I unloaded and restacked it myself since I was the 1st truck there. (11pm) Lumpers got there at Midnight.
I was finished unloading at 1230. Wouldn't have done it normally but it got me out of there...a LOT quicker and it was only 10 Pallets. -
Well, my load going into Texas was canceled by Tyson, not Furniture Row. Now I will definitely be sitting here until tomorrow morning. New load window is 1000-1600 tomorrow. Delivering 850 miles away in Anniston, AL. Delivers on the 29th with no appointment set, at least I think is what the dispatch said. It is getting really old to drive one day, sit the next. Rinse and repeat. I am starting to wonder if I pissed someone off. Time will tell I suppose.

Parked for the night outside of Shreveport, LA. I have I delivery at 0600 here and one at 1100 about 150 miles south. Then I have to hot foot it to Beaumont, TX to pick up by 1500 headed to Brighton, CO to deliver on 11/29 at 0800. We'll see if I can even scale the next load, its supposed to be almost 44k. It also depends on how quick my deliveries come off tomorrow if I can even pick it up at all. Sorry to hear about your lousy week and a half Efon.
