don is just real buisy...it would be real hard to rub him the wrong way,he is a prince of a guy...i see u live in arkansas..i live in yellville,ar and have no problem getting home on request if that is any consolation.i love it here, its not perfect but they give u a lot of freedom...but it is still a trucking job,if u know what i mean.

Holycow, you live about 1 hour from me. I live in calico rock ar on the white river! So that actually is great to hear on hometime. Where do you usually load out of leaving and del to comming home? What truck did you get?

it varies where we come from and go to on home time.little rock, springdale,ft.smith are some places i delivered too then went home...newport,rogers,littlerock,new albany/west memphis are places ive picked up after hometime...i hve never had a problem getting home and staying my requested time...never been an issue with me/other drivers have had a different experience...it is what it is

Don't knock on the Autoshift until you try it. It takes some getting used too, but it is very nice come rush hour traffic :)

Well, I was able to get the load from Beaumont, TX to Brighton, CO legal, and swapped with truck 224 in Newton, KS so he could get home for home time. I got a load he picked up in Holcomb that delivers at Nocs in la Porte, TX in the morning. I'll be picking up in Houston, TX at Budweiser on Saturday and delivers in Omaha, NE on Monday. Welcome to the club, dark majesty.

I seriously like the running area i see yourusually in. How many produce loads have any of you done? You all deal with hersheys or mars much? I used to get a run with shaffer out of palmyra pa from hersheys over to ogden ut. Catch was, it was a high altitude load.. So you had to make your way down to 40 then back up to salt lake. Really nice miles and i loved the fact, most hershey would give me a free candy bar! It also seems i may be able to make my way up to johnsons corner again.. Gotta loce those huge cin rolls up there.
