FRE seems like a good company. Thanks for all the information.
What speed are the trucks governed at? Do you run all 48 states or stay mostly in the middle of the country?

The trucks are set at 65. If you can keep it at 7 mpg and above they will turnit up to 68. We are a 48 state trucking company so we can run anywhere the fright needs to go. But we mainly stay in the middle where the freight is always moving.

I am sitting here in Jonesboro, AR waiting for my appontment time to drop off the Prime load. Will have a 34 hour restart done by then. Well until the new restart rule takes affect...lol. Then I am headed to New Albany, MS to get a power inverter added to my truck at the shop. Going to meet my DM in person for the first time and the rest of the office staff.
I did do the one thing I have been waiting on doing from the start of working for FRE. I passed up a JBS truck....lol. I waved and Said hi on the radio but he didn't return any of it. Oh well, I was just happy to pass him up. Now if it was up hill never would have happen. 79640 gross and still breaking in the engine. Almost 4k miles on it so needless to say it is airflow weak up hills. But it is getting better. Was doing 8 mpg going east on 70 in Kansas. Until the hills showed up. Drop to 6.5 mpg.
So far the electric APU is doing great. With the heat running anyways. Batteries have lasted a full 34 hours with out having to idle the truck. Minus being less room then my last sweet ride I think I am warming up to this one.
Well if Don says he has a truck for you two, 18kyle and Tyson. Then he might have you two on the board saving a truck to put you in. But that doesn't means you have all the time in the world either. We can use all the good drivers we can get.robthesailor and trucker43 Thank this. -
Boy wouldn't that just suck! It would be my luck too- to be hired and FRE be out of trucks. LOL . It would be worthwhile to wait around till they got 1 though since i'm employed already.

I looked up FRE's addrs in Aurora, I didnt realize it eas close to my old Air Force Base- Lowry AFB. Buckley Field now, where i trained for EOD. Got my only tattoo as a right of passage i guess,on colfax ave just a few miles away. The driver of the #78 Furniture Row Racing is Regan Smith-mine is Rob Smith-the street to get to 19th is Smith way. The signs are everywhere for my employment at FRE! LMAO
