DH from La Porte to Pittsburg, the Seabrook load fell through, since NOCS took to long.

Any of you guys know if they will let me stay there for my Break at JBS?

the reason for all the crazyness on these loads is because J.L. let 43 drivers have 7 days off or more for christmas.so the load planners are scrambling to cover the loads.the man up above was and is not happy about it.they are calling drivers to see if they will cut their holidays short to cover loads.....i was able to get my load early from sulpher springs tx.stopped in prescott,ar. at the t.a. for service.dont have to be in southaven till the 24th so i have a little time to kick around now.got to shipper early and they loaded me right away.good thing or i would have ran over my 14 sitting there with the schedual i was on.i took a chance going in early and it paid off...hope everyone is warm and doing well

the apu in the petes are all right if you dont run things to much. as far as the heater part if its not to cold it holds up fine. i have a really small fridge in mine and the other nite in limon batteries went down in 45 min but it was 7deg and wind was 45-50 mph -10 windchill so i idle allnite. the line from the reefer will keep it going if you dont have anything else running, the alternator dont put out that many amps. i've been in it a month and a half and learned how to work it so we can be comfortable with it. you will to, the pete its self is contankerous some days she runs good others not. i would stay in one if it was just me but i have my wife with me and its way to small for to people, so we are moving in to a freightliner as soon as we can. hope this helps

Took wayne farms over 10 hours get me a dock and one hour to load me. I been out since nov 3, had i known JL and Michelle were getting fired i would of been home earlier. I am now at receiver w 10 other trucks waiting to get a door. I sent a letter to my DM to forward to planning the importance of correct addresses andback to back meat loads and reefer info. They failed all three w one load. I am pissed off about it. I got rolling late last night not 20 miles down 85n i get pulled over by Motor Carrier enforcement. Did all his checks asked at of questions everything is legit on my way. No paperwork as proof. Made me nervous regardless, i don't care to lose anymore money than i already have.

I sure hope whoever makes stupid mistakes in planning gets fixed quick IMO I'm starting to miss Michele and john L. They need to pay attention before they lose more drivers and good contracts, this broker is useless.

Do you go and buy the first car you see on a lot? From your statement there, I sure believe you do. Kist because i shop around, doesnt mean im not "ready" to come there. What am i, 10 years old and wanting to come to camp?
I check every possibility around and have a family to consider. I would love to be home and make good money.. For my family. It seems to me, You and your 1 year of driving need to learn how to take care of buisness and not worry so much about what other people do. Its always nice to have other people try and make decsions for me but if you dont mind.. I think i know whats best for us over here but thanks for the concern.
I would most certainly hope you soon realize that all your complaints are just part of being a reefer driver. Especially with who fre chooses to haul freight for. If you could show me a customer that does have their game together, especially at this time of year.. I would be shocked. You could always move to dry van or flatbed.. Oh wait, i dont really like to tell folks whats best for them.....

Heh, your suck a smart guy huh? Gotta be that internet rambo. I betcha your one of those guys who like to sit in a truck stop and holla out you aint got no panties on and make fun of that driver having a hard time backing up.
But you tell me your years of experiance have nothing to do with me? You are just contradicting yourself there.. You seem to stick your nose in my buisness but get all offensive when i point out that maybe at your experiance level, you dont quite understand that in most cases, reefer is a hurry up and wait game at shippers and consignees. Sure, i may only have 3 years and my dad may only have 23 years and my grandpa may only have 30 years and.. Oh i might as well stop there as you will just say my familys knowlage passes down to me is nothing more than water under a bridge.
You can be a internet rambo all day, insulting me and honestly making yourself look like a big ole silly but what it all boils down to. Your having a bad time and figured you would share the wealth. You know what they say, "misery loves company".
So ill be happy to fight and call each other names over a pm but we are using space intended for company information. So go have some coffee, cheer up and if that dont work, well i guess i am just a red blooded, undependable, Wasting your companies money, kind of guy.
