Took US50 to La Junta from Delta/Olathe.... Not so fun fully grossed out.

 

i've been called old man alot lately by people and had a guy at the truck stop that wanted money last nite called me pops but nobody has ever refered to me as moses...now daniel u need to play nice...LOL/i set all day yesterday waiting to see what they wanted me to do only to be dispatched on a load that nite to be delivered the next morning.got into a screaming match with johnny in which he won out and delivered the load this morning.i have decided that i was not going to run all nite after being up all day...MOSES is getting to old for that stuff

 

I picked up in Chicago earlier. Trailer is loaded to the doors. Supposed to be picking up here at us cold storage in la vista, ne in the morning then headed to centennial, co for Tuesday. Not sure if they'll have the room to put anything else on but we'll see. Was supposed to deliver on Monday but they have changed the appointment times on this load so many times its ridiculous. I should get a 34 in at least.

well i made it to OKlahoma City made the mistake of taking 152 out of Dumas TX, wont do that again those dam oilfield guys are nuts, pull right out on the HWY in front of you with out stopping then stopping to turn back in, think they have that in bassakwards order, anyway lost an hour on that ride. see all you guys in Atlanta lol

 

well sometime while sleeping my APU shut down in the middle of the night, I filled my tank yesterday so I don't know why won't stay running. so not only am I due for a APU service now I need a truck service also. this cold weather is not good. it's really feels like its negative 50 out. I'm going to try to go back to sleep but they still need to complete my reset.

 

This is why the company is posting record profits, maintainance is the easiest place to cut costs, yet it is twice as expensive as the repair would have been when they get fined or put OOS, and it nails YOUR PSP, and puts the company CSA score at risk, IMHO that shop in New Albany is where the next round of firings needs to take place, you guys need to start pressuring the powers that be, it worked on Michelle and Jon L.

 

Dark Majesty may have just decided FRE was not the right fit for his needs. Good thing he did it now and not 6 mos after he is working there. But he should not have made such a big deal of it. Changing jobs in this industry is hard because all you have to go on for information is word of mouth. Godd luck to him wherever he lands, just hope it wasn't PRIME!

 

My thing is that they all know what needs to be done! But they are really slow about getting it there. Maintence is a problem at all companys, only place i worked that didn't have trouble with it was when i did it for Midland Transportaion , not bragging but, when it broke i got it fixed it by the best shops and when it wasn't right i went back on them and got it right. I remember Fleet services came out on the weekend and did PM's and screwed up the air boxes on two of our trucks and replaced them then tried to charge us for the parts at a cost of over 600.00 needless to say i got a visit from the sisters that own it and got FANTASTIC service after that. Don made a good point when i was in Denver that all service in New Albany needs to be on piece work, or paid by what they got done, then you would see some results maybe.

 

May Trucking was excellent in and extremely thorough. This shop takes too much time way past even other shops. I am due for service soon also. I need my apu back online. I cook in my truck cant eat park n pukes everyday.

 

nope;i picked up in cullman,al on the 7th.broker load and deliversd in houston area.i did pick up in forest,ms on the 10th.johnny said that this was a new contract we picked up.tyson chicken.i was the first load out of there under the contract that they had signed that morning.i was late picking up because my reefer stopped working while i was precooling it.it had a short in it
