I'm in truck 402, its one of the white peterbilts. You're right about some guys with fre being questionable, but most of the guys I've met in person are ok. I hear ya on the trailer issues Daniel. It seems to be a running theme. I just send mark emails when I pick up bad trailers and let him do his thing. It drives me nuts when other drivers just leave you with their issues. Since I've take over this Pete I've had to do a fair amount of maintenance, things like shocks ( which should be replaced at 150,000 miles max) and other small but basic things. I'm having a steer replaced right now because of bad steers and alignment issues that should have been taken care of sooner. Remember that we can go to any TA or Petro and spend up to $1000.00 before you need special authorization, just don't abuse it. One of our drivers was saying he wanted to go to the Iowa 80 to buy some chrome since its a TA. I'm pretty sure he was joking, but some guys would do it.

And thanks to Daniel, Platinum, Efon and whoever else is working to make FRE a better company. I'm still waiting for a truck to open up so I can run with ya'll. I can't wait to get out there and get some trailers fixed!

I'm on my way to Farr West. Deliver on Monday morning. I'm stopping in Rawlins tomorrow, then pushing in early Monday for a 1000 delivery.

 

I'll give out my truck number when someone gives me a sure fire trick to get rid of cigarette smells....
