@MDavis... No, on all 3 questions... They encourage you to take the best route, but that is any company out here... They figure that you know how much fuel you need especially considering your weight... And no, they don't tell you where to fuel exept for the fact that you have to fuel at Flying J or Pilot's... You TransFlo your bills, receipts, and everything like that... Pay is by Direct Deposit and you have the option of drawing 250.00 every Monday morning...

Ok thanks for all the replys.I want to work for a company that cares about you and treats you like a person. I just am tired of my truck breaking down all the time and pulling tankers. I was also wondering will they pay for plane ticket to get to orientation. Long way on the Bus. If you can put in a good work in for me to Don that also would be nice. Do they make you drive if you feel like it is to dangerous to drive?
-
Also is there a age limit to the rider you can take with you?
-
I don't know about the plane or bus ticket thing as I live right there and didn't need either. That would be a question to ask Don on how he would get you there. As far as driving on bad roads that is your choice. This company needs drivers that can make good decisions on when they shod and shouldn't drive. If you can drive safely and feel comfortable doing so then drive. But in the end it is YOUR choice. Once again that would be a great question for Don. Now lastly I think the age for kids is 10 yrs old. But I would ask Don on that one as well to make sure that is correct.
All in all I think this is I good company. Everyone I have talk with have been nice and willing to work with me. They treat you like a person who knows what he/she is doing. So knowing your job is a BIG must here.trucker43 Thanks this. -
Well been driving for awhile know what it takes to get things done. I know you have to weight loads and fuel at Pilots or Flying J and take a route that get you the best way per DOT. I know you have to monitor temperture loads. I know the Hours Of Service rules and you may have to drive at day or at night. All I know I have never been late with a load and have always been safe in doing so. I just know my limits and know what I am comfortable with.

So think I know the job if that is what you mean. I know you have to stay out for 14 to 21 days. I don't want to tell you I want to show you. I just like making sure that we fit and don't just want to go anywhere. I know trucking is a choice and a lifestyle like no other. I just want to be able to make a living and not have to kill myself doing so. I am tired of promises and being lied to by other companies that will no care about drivers.
trucker43 Thanks this. -
So hope that is what you mean by knowing your job. I have never been one to brag. Only thing is never really dealt with refer unit before that will be something to get used to.
