Yes , just as you put it. Wasnt implying that you didn't know the job or anything and you like we all are looking for the same thing. I just know that there are drivers that don't think before they do. As in if you don't hand carry them around they will never get things done. If what I wrote sounded like I was say you where one then Im sorry wasn't my intent. I just like to make it clear that they want drivers who can think for the self in making the right choice in any given time. Now this I do know. The company want to retain drivers, they want to keep a good saftey score to get the high paid loads. They want to stay small and build on what they started and make it better. For that to happen they need us out here making those good choices. Now you are asking a lot of very good questions some of which I can not answer which is way I say to ask Don as I don't want to give you the wrong answer. I hate being lied to ad much as the next person and will not do that to a fellow driver. From what I gave rad today sounds like to me that you are looking for all the answers you can get to make a good desicion on sheathed to take the offer or not. I would say take it. You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders " even thou you are a tanker yanker" lol , just kidding. Nothing to reefers once the thing is on and set your good to go. All I can say is I realy like it here. They don't down talk ya. They will tell you from day one what you can and can't not do. They leave you alone to do your thing. If you have any question about something they will do there best in giving you a answer. They just want good drivers and know you want a good company. Don and Ruby are both ex owner ops and knows what it takes to be out here and they are the ones you talk to if you have any issues. So from that point alone they already know where you are coming from. They are big on family and getting the job done. But do notice that they do put family first.

MDavis, it does sound to me like you have a good head on your shoulders, I myself think that you'll fit in real well with those of us that are working here... I've hesitated a bit to answer some of your questions myself because I've only been here since the 14 of last month, but, I know one thing, they've sure treated me well so far, I have no complaints at all... It did take me a little while to get used to pulling a reefer, I've mostly pulled dry boxes, although I've been out here for almost 20 years of driving... Another thing that took me a little bit to get used to is having the electronic logs, they have the MCP200 in all of the trucks... Hope to see you here...

If you have any questions about the elite and how to run the reefer ask in orientation and they will take you out and go over them with you. As far as the long nose I haven't had any issues. There have been some tight places but I just do what the old saying says go slow lol and get out and look as much as you need to. Also the coronados turn on a dime which makes it much easier. The Pete's have a little bigger turning range.

    trucker43 Thanks this.

I am surrounded by JBS. Here at Millard's waiting to get my seal cut so I can open doors and get empty. Will be headed up to De Queens for the night as I have a pick up tomorrow night. So I thought I would camp out there. Away from the truck stop door knockers. Which the other day I almost came unglued on the other night. I will only say this. Don't knock on my door at 1:30am and ask me for money. You might get a boot instead of a ## you or you might get both...lol. Wonder if any if the JBS guys here is hazmat. hhhhhmmmmmm
