I havent been late yet on home time. So far a little over a year in and everytime I have been ontime. 1 day home for every week out. need to have it submitted 10 days in advance before the start of home time. Miles are up and down. I think right now tey are down but we are having some changes going on so I am hoping it is just that. The hope are they will go back up. some weeks you can get 3000+ miles then again some weeks you can get 2000 miles in. Just depends on how the loads are going and where you are at at the time. Just like any other company. The insurance is Meritain. It isnt the best but it isnt the worse either. The amount you pay depends on if it is just you or a family plan.
A lot of this stuff might seem like complaining but it is more of letting each other how we are doing. We are just trying to be more informative and also at time need to get out some frustration. For the most part I still think this is a good company to work for but that is my oppinion. Like I said we are going throu some changes right now so it might or is a little rcky at times but once everything settles down I think it will be balls to the wall for a while. All I can say if you do come to work here you need to be able to manage yourself. This is a place where no ones hand is held. either you can get it done or you will get phased out. -
I heard Don was in Amarillo today. Guess he has been getting realy busy again. The physical is just a basic one. Nothing too hard. No ergo stuff either. Just make sure you are ready to pee in a bottle for the drug screening. At orientation ask as many questions as needed and dont leave without them being answered. At time they get busy in the office and will hold off on the questions for a while and then forget about them if you dont remind them.btulnut55 Thanks this.

We do get detention but FRE does it a bit different then other companies. But if the place you was detained at pays it you get half of what was paid. So if they paid $500.00 you will get $250.00. Not going to put down how they do the detention as I am not sure if they want that posted here. Dispatchers are nice for the most part. We do have one that is a ##### hole but that just one. If you do your job they will leave you alone. Just do your best, be safe, and be on time. Nothing more anyine can ask for.btulnut55 Thanks this.

Well I have a pick up in Chicago in the am. Nice to see another snow storm coming. Does anyone else drive in the snow? Oh well. Looks like it will hit a little after 8am. My appointment is for 0830 so Ill get in early. Hopefully they are in and can load me. Just need to be out and south of Indy before noon. That is when the worse of it is going to hit. Wish me luck and I hope this is the last snow storm this month I have to drive in. Not saying that I drive in them if the roads ar bad. If they are I stop. Just getting tired of being held up by them.

It's supposed to snow over the weekend in Denver too. At least you got a white truck. Matches the snow well.
