Let me tell ya about my day....after sitting all weekend in Aurora, I was given a 0900 load of furniture to Fort Collins. At 1030 the trailer is loaded and off I go. I got 30 miles before the snow hit really well....the 26 is shut down at exit 271 and after passing Johnsons Corner I am the only big truck left going North. I get to the Sofa Mart and it is snow packed. They have a plow coming sooner or later. The plow comes up and I am able to back down into the loading dock at Sofa Mart. He unloads half the trailer and then tells me I have to go next door to another dock for the Oad Express stuff on the trailer....oh and did they tell you that you first have to drop your trailer someplace and take the empty out of the dock and then find a place to drop in and then reattach the half loaded trailer and put it in their dock. Which is also snow packed so we better get the plow guys back....All this during the snowstorm. I was not a happy camper. By then the 26 was open again and everyone and I mean EVERYONE hauled ### to Budweiser. It was a total zoo. Naturally I had an 1100 pickup time and I barely got out of there by 6pm. Now this load is supposed to be in Chamberlain South Dakota at 11 in the morning.....NOT. I got as far as Big Springs Nebraska and I am done for the night. I have no idea how bad it is going to be in the morning, or if the 80 will even be open as it was not pleasant getting to Big Springs. Oh well. I figure I will try and roll in to Chamberlain some time tomorrow night and deliver Wed morning. They are FCFS anyway so I dont need an appt. Hope you all fared better than I did.

I am in Arkansas. It was 80° today partly cloudy. I had to take DOT physical and then told even tho I passed my cardiologist must send paperwork on how my last stress test went...what stress test...that was over a year ago now got to do it again so I am hung up. But road my bike the rest of the day and had a good time.

I am too excited, I luv all my peeps one here, but the soap opera is fun to watch. There is a real simple solution get new trailers!, or at least used ones that are 3-4 years old and fairly well maintained. When I worked there I gave them the name of a freind of mine that owns 50 trucks and 100 trailers, he trades 100 of them every 3 years and they are well spec'd, meticulously maintained, and reasonablly priced Jon Larchick said well whatever and went on his way. The company is in Gretna, NE a suburb of Omaha so it would be easy to get them into the system.
