Just finished a local from aurora to Fort Collins. It was a drop and hook. Everything was looking good until I inspected the trailer. I hooked to 079. The LRI tire is a racing slick, license plate light out, tandems won't slide, and the annual expired a week ago! I was told to call TA. Now I'm waiting on TA road squad to get here. They can do everything except for the annual. I asked if they really wanted me to drop a trailer with a bad annual at ab. They said "gonna have to." So I'm sorry to whoever gets this trailer next with a bad annual. Supposed to beheaded to Moorhead, MN after this.

Made it to Warrenton Mo. from Colby Ks, 564 in 8 1/2 hours, but it seemed a lot longer fighting the wind all day. No traffic to speak of till i hit KC. then it was nothing but a cluster. About 6 more hours to Goodletsville tommorrow. I need to get a reset, hate running on these regained hrs!

I would have taken that 079 back to the yard and told them they could mess with it. thats BS, Especially if you picked it up there!!!!

 

I just read Genarcher report and I must say I have a major issue today myself. I wasn't going to put it on this forum but after reading yours its time to help each other out and let management know Joe is not the answer to our problems and becoming a safety risk and complacent. He told me on the phone that I need to take the trailers to T/A to get fixed, he also stated CT Power comes out 3 times a week to service our trailers. If that was true why are their 5 trailers that wont pass a pretrip. I pre tripped 5 yes, say it!! 5 reefer trailers in Denver this am, (not Xtra Lease) 5 of 6 failed pre trip and had other issues. I was actually turning in a trailer that joe was given a heads up on and he said he would leave red tape out to flag it, well guess what not one trailer is flagged or is their red tape anywhere. I am not going to do Joe job, he has asked countless people to even deliver his loads. I am sending an email to our top 3 on this subject matter, Joe is clearly a liability.
