Had my trucks full service today and plop plop in the oil, metal and rubber. Oddly New Albany just replaced front and rear seals and did an overhead. Now my truck goes back to shop.

Well well well, Where do I start with this. I am really getting upset with one of our planners name starts with a "C". This is the 3rd time she has given me a load to get home for less than 300 miles and takes 1.5 days to do it. I have had scheduled time off originally from May 1-7th, then extended to 8th due to some legal stuff. Now they have me delivering at 0515 on wed am, and over 4 hours away from home. Medical appt was for 915 wed, Dentist 1400 thu, Vet friday 1000 and legal mon and tues and washer and dryer coming to deliver also one of the business days.

Now if I unload at 515 wed am, should I really have to wait tell 2330 wed night then roll 40 miles for first delivery at 0530 then final stop at 1400 in douglas, ga 261 miles away??? Someone enlighten me please? So I am suppose to roll all night and be tired for the next two days to catch up on medical needs and business, I am getting a full physical, blood work, urology, dermatologists appt. Should I really have to keep fighting when I ask for time off and keep getting screwed over because of overnight deliveries then get to go home!! TIME OFF STARTS THE DAY I WAKE UP IN MY BED, AND MY FEET HIM THE GROUND AT HOME WHEN I WAKE UP! I don't know who's thick head this needs to get through but come on, I have plans and things to do. Last time it cost me 1k dollars of my own money to get home because of poor planning and I had appointments I could not miss! I had to drive 3 days from Denver home cost me food, hotel, fuel and flight back to Denver!!!

I am sick of this distinctive poor planning. I have been out a whole month I need to get home when I request, and enough of the extra loads and over 14 hours to pick up. I been screwed before running a trailer around over 180 miles after delivery to make sure it was ready for the next driver and paperwork sent so i could go home. That took me 6 hours after empty to get home.

Welcome to trucking Platinum!! It's the way it is. You have no life. You get home when you get home. You don't make appointments, and you have your divorce and child support arrangements already made because you won't get home on time for those either. It's trucking and things don't always work on our time schedule my friend.

    Good morning FRE elite. Bwahahaha.
So have any of you got a load of the new stuff yet? I'm just curious about how that is going.
I was telling a friend, who happens to be a master diesel mechanic, about the rubber and medal found in the oil. He said sounds like someone fried an overhead. Hmmm now they want me to take it back to New Albany for repairs. It seems Freightliner in North Little Rock would be better choice since I am in Arkansas.
