From what Scott said to me, it will be Carl answering the phone, not Mark. I'm willing to give Carl a chance. Maybe 2 or 3...

I know I have complained but I hate to get blind sides on stuff. If I knew of the air and cab filters in new Albany I would wait and get them replaced their. But I never knew we had a stock pile. Have the time I talked with David is was too busy to bother working on my truck. So I stuck with just going to T/A. But to too with 2 broken shocks and have Mark say no don't fix it was just f'ed up to me. Yes I is a growing pain here. I have been here 1 1/2 years now and for the last year I have been saying ( complaining) about the same stuff. Will it get fixed??? Who knows. Scott isn't blinded and I hope he sees what we see. It will take some time to get fixed. But we will lose most of the drivers here before then I am sure. I have been trying to stick it out myself. Some days are harder then others. If they can just fix the communication issue then that will take loads off the other problems. Just saying.

Well i think i have not hardly been complaining at all most of the posts i have made in this PUBLIC thread and therefore PUBLIC forum have been positive so far. My overall experience here so far has been good and compared to the last gig i had this is Club Med for me.

But i can see now this is a private circle jerk for the FRE super truckers

So sorry if i have offended you Gopher by posting my thoughts and opinions, but I guess yours are the only ones that matter in here. and applies to anyone else i have offended
    as well

so i will let you guys get back to your private party here.
Have a nice day and be safe
    Cyber

Daniel, I'm not giving you a hard time and actually agree with your points. Broken shocks are a DOT violation and should have been replaced. If that happens again get a printout of needed repairs and statement of who rejected those repairs from the shop to cover your butt and give Scott a copy. That situation needs fixing. Right now I have confidence in Scott and will continue to until he proves me wrong.

lol Cyber, we have all felt your pain and I thought your remark about no reward for hard work was a bit premature for no longer than you have been around. You haven't experienced anything here yet that you didn't experience somewhere else. The so called members of the circle have all dealt with the same issues and still do.
I was premature to give you a rash of sh&# and I apologize so please jump in the circle and start jerking with us.

Not that my opinion matters but I think Scott walked into a bad situation and without any knowledge of this business he has a real challenge. I think he has got to figure out who he can and cannot trust and sort that out for his own piece of mind. Competent people need hired for specific jobs rather than one trying to do 3 because that ain't working. He desperately needs someone handling compliance to make sure our permit books are always utd and our logs are always correct. Mistakes happen and they need someone qualified to find and correct those mistakes before a DOT inspector does it for them. I can almost certainly assure you it isn't being done.
I think Scott will eventually fix it and drivers will give him sound advice for the most part and they'd be wise to be driver friendly but firm. There are,as we all know, drivers out there that give a fiddle faddle about nothing or no one and we have a few of those but we also have drivers that do care and are willing to tuff it out if positive things take shape. This place has potential.

This place has potential, and I agree on the getting the right people in place. I understand it will take time to get it all fixed. But the road blocks some office people do just mess everything up. It's childish and it effects us out here more so then in the office. I like this place but hate the games. Not sure if I will hold out any longer or not. If I don't it will be from the power plays some are doing in the office. Scott is a good guy. He is trying his best to learn the ropes and wasn't given a good turd to polish. So it isn't going to be easy for him.

On another note colonial freight truck 2625 has blocked me in my parking spot this morning. He isn't in a parking spot. I have been banging on him door for over a hour. Called his company who can't find him either. So my day is starting off on the left foot.

Daniel, don't let the frustration get you down to the point of leaving. I hate seeing our better drivers leave. Guys that want to make a difference.
I personally don't think that roadblock will be an issue long. Arrogance will gets its but kicked because there's no place for it in trucking. Especially in a new company like this. I believe Scott will be on it but it takes drivers like you to help make a difference so hang in there.
I think I teed off Cyber and I was rash but you guys know its just me at times. We all work hard and try to do a good job still face issues that frustrate us but where have any of us worked or could work that wouldn't have issues. We create our own awards. They don't grow on trees.
Cyber you might get a new hat if you ask nicely. Just do your best and have no expectations and you will see improvement. Expecting any reward is just asking for teed off in this business.

Fresh green beans and new potatoes and hot cornbread sure would be good. I rigged up my microwave like frogman has his and its great but some fresh garden veggies would hit the spot.
