while I was at the TA in council bluffs I had just washed my truck and parked and there were some people there that came over and started takeing pictures of my truck.they said it was the prettyest truck they ever seen.had another truck driver asked me how to get on with fre because he liked the truck... buy new trlrs and put furniture row on the sides and u have a moving billboard.the advertisement will bring more people to the stores and that could pay for the trlrs...just a thought on how to get new trlrs

 

I heard that thought floating around the office one day. Not sure if anything came of it. I get people that ask if we are the trucks with the advertising on the side. I say "Nope, that's American furniture warehouse." They reply "Never heard of them.". That's cause you haven't, they are only in one state, but their trucks are rolling advertisements everywhere they go.

 

By the way, I'm still in Omaha. Just now they are starting to load the truck.

 

I have a great week I got preplaned on monday all the way through the week till I went for my home time.I did not get buck 1500 miles but that will be OK bar from the best week but it will be OK. For all the people that think this is a bad place to work its not I have work in places unbelievable where you have to worry about your check whether or not your fuel card would work etc. I think it will take a little time but I think it will get better and oh yes I get mad as hell n even really pissed off but when the dust clears its not a bad place to work I want to wish all of y'all a good week next week while I'm at home I will be thinking about you all sitting around at these meat plants while I'm thinking about it everybody on here needs to mention to Scott or Don Wilson that we need to be able to get our settlement sheets weekly and not have to wait until we get home weather we get them on the QC or whether we get them online where we can print them ourselves but we do need to be able to get a copy of them every Monday for the following paycheck that we get on Thursday we use to get these in an email but they have changed the system and Miss Lisa can no longer send those emails so we all need to stay on management so we can get our statements in a new system thanks and everybody have a great week

 

Im heading back out tonight. Have the usual Houston AB pickup in the morning except Im going to Lubbock this time instead of Amarillo.

 

Left Duncan Ok at 0430 yesterday drove to Pleasanton tx unloaded the fulls, loaded up emptys and headed for the house , made it 35 miles south of the house at 2230 and had to spend the night at walmart in Purcell Ok. due to the storms shuting down the HWY. 1000 miles in one day and stilll had to sleep in the bunk. I hate that! lot torn up around here but were all good.



Still have not got my last check yet been 3 weeks (I'm not happy)

 

I'm supposd to be getting my Settlement Statement emailed every week....haven't gotten it in 3 or 4 weeks...dunno.
Guess I need to talk to Payroll again, to see what's up.
