I ended up on the midnight express due to having a Xtra Junk being 860 lbs over gross, after I already started my clock that am and did a 8/2 split rolled for 2 stops, Danville, then Chicago to Amigos in a residential neighborhood. Made it with 20 mins to spare of my 14. Safe haven to TS after. Seemed like it took forever to get out of CHI just to get to a TS. Batteries ended up being bad on truck also had to jump myself off my reefer. I had a Level 1 Inspection Last month and have yet to be paid for it. I am going to resubmit the inspection. I set my PTA for tomorrow due to the delays I had with Tyson, weather, and 1st drop taking so long to break it down lumping.

The miles have picked up just a little this is what my settlement shows

As long as I can stay 2500 or above I am a happy here. I prefer over 3k a week but I understand.
I had to replace two shocks on my DS drives that were replaced in April went bad. Pretrip your trucks guys!!! My new shocks were leaking.
I have had alot of maintenance in many recent weeks also. Anyone see the Brand New Trailers yet???

Bumper sorry to hear about all your family issues. I got a call from Tom today, but I could swear it sounded like David!:biggrin_25513: I start back tomorrow afternoon catching up on sleep today and doing some final planning of my trip to Costa Rica. I need a break out of this country. Anyone here using the company 401k? I need to get signed up ASAP. If you have info please advise. Things are looking a little better.

    Bumper Thanks this.

Some of you guys were asking about a new FM... We have one in New Albany right now that Robin is training... His name is Tom, seemed like a decent guy...

I am hoping to go back out tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday at the latest. Have been off for a week. Thank God for my retirement!!

Niece is doing some better. She had liver failure and they are trying to find a donor. She is at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto California and I hear it is a very very good place.

Tom the new DM is/was a driver here since the beginning. He understands what its like out here and how FRE works. He will be an amazing asset once he learns the dispatch ropes.

Gopher will be teaching him, like he did Greg.:biggrin_25510: The pete wouldnt be so bad if they had shelving and a fridge built in and more width between the seats up front. Us bigger guys need space. Hopefully the miles continue upward, I have had carry over every week delivering on mondays. I wish our pay period ended on monday instead of sunday. That way we can get paid what we drove all weekend for.
