picked up trlr 227 at con agg in co.bluffs and the only thing I had to do to it was adjust the brakes because the tandems wouldn't slide.they say not to adjust brakes with slack adjusters but with fre trlrs u gotta do it or the tandems wont slide.everyone that I have had trouble with not slideing worked fine after the adjustment except for maybe two of them.axle greese took care of those two.with only 2 mechanics and 300 trlrs, sometimes u gotta do it ur self.WHY NOT

Know what ya mean, picked up a trl the other day in Amarillo TX at Tyson. Mud Flaps were falling off of it. Out came the tools bolted them back on and truck on down the road.

I picked up trlr 166 from amc and thought I was going home till Tuesday.i thought I was going home.i spent an hour under this trlr getting hoses away from each other.some were rubbing a hole in the other.some one put a short spring that was rusted real bad where there should have been a long spring so I had to put a long spring that was new in its place.i have 2 new springs left for other trlrs and only 8 inches of air hose protective covering left.i just don't want a ticket for this stuff.one is enough for me...oh I forgot,i woke up and did my pre-trip and the best tire on the trlr was flat.filled it up and it stayed up...cool/going home tomorrow for the holiday so u all have fun this week end

I wander if they even know about going to the TA to get something fixed.maybe the new drivers arnt being told in orientation.they put on a new set of drives while I was in new Albany.recaps,4 Michelin and 4 generals.i asked tim about alignment and he said I didn't need alignment on drive tires.now I have to hold onto the steering wheel with both hands.i am all over the road.i am slowing way down in the rain and parking when the road is slick.this is getting real interesting as far as safty goes.money wins over safty
